Cooperation with EODY (NPHO)

We are pleased to announce that we are also cooperating with the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (NPHO-EODY). Free Rapid Ag COVID-19 tests will be offered to participants on the campus during the 4th DSTMUN as part of the partnership.

Bearing in mind that the epidemiological situation in Northern Greece is really impaired with many daily COVID-19 cases, it is mandatory for all the participants of the 4th DSTMUN that will be in the school to undertake rapid tests during the days of the conference. The laboratories will operate in the school and the tests are included in the fees!

Based on the current epidemiological situation in Greece and the COVID-19 measures announced in the recent Official Journal of the Government that apply until 31st March, we are pleased to inform you that a hybrid conference may take place. During the 4th DSTMUN, all sanitary protocols of the Greek government and the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY) will be respected. All participants that will be on the campus during the conference will have to present one of the following documents on Friday, Saturday and on Sunday:

a) A valid vaccination certificate (vaccines that will be accepted: Pfizer BioNtech, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Novavax, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen, Sinovac Biotech, Gamaleya (Sputnik), Cansino Biologics, Sinopharm): 14 days should have elapsed since the last vaccination, depending on the doses required;

b) Proof of recovery from SARS-CoV-2: if someone was tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 to 180 days, this can be proven either by presenting a positive PCR molecular or an antigen test result performed by an authorized laboratory or a medical certificate confirming that the holder was tested positive with SARS-CoV-2 virus infection or by holding a certificate, which is issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test and is valid for 180 days after it;

c) A European Digital COVID Certificate (Green Pass);

Vaccinated participants and participants that recovered from SARS-CoV-2 are advised to undertake a Rapid test!

d) A negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a COVID-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before the day of the conference that the test is controlled or a negative antigen (Rapid) certificate taken no longer than 48 hours before the day of the conference that the test is controlled. This test is mandatory for all participants that cannot present any of the documents listed under (a), (b) or (c) and strongly recommended for all the other participants;

e) All international visitors must complete the electronic PLF document before traveling to Greece. Upon entrance, visitors may undergo targeted tests. In the event of a positive result, travelers will be temporarily accommodated in an isolation hotel, free of charge. If a positive incident is detected following a sampling test at the land borders, then entry into the country may not be allowed. Quarantine for visitors from abroad is not required.

Information for travelers can be found here: https://travel.gov.gr/

 A COVID-19 center will operate during the conference on the premises of the German School.
